The proprietor of Marco Hardware and Patron of the Kigezi Homeboyz Football Club fans committee, Eng. Bwambale Joram Marco wants the club to stay in the Uganda Premier League for more season.

Bwambale who played a vital role as the club become the first club since Horizon 25 years ago to attain Uganda Premier League status asserts that his dream is to see the club succeed in the top-tier as well seeing the region produce players who feature for the national team.

“We want to stay in the Uganda Premier league for a longtime not just spending just a season in the topflight. I want to this talent develop in this region. This region used to have so many people represent the nation on national level. The spirit of sports had declined in this region as Marco Hardware we came in to ensure that we re-boost and motivate sports men and women in this region. We want to develop and nurture talents so that in years to come we can have so many players play for the national team as well play professional football. That’s basically my dream of supporting local sports especially in Kigezi region.” Said Bwambale

Bwambale commonly known as Marco through his Marco Hardware sponsored Kigezi Homeboyz’s amazing dream to the table of men. His hardware was the club’s main sponsor during the just concluded season and he is ready to continue helping the side during their Uganda Premier League campaign next season.

Kigezi finished fourth on the FUFA Big League table with 51 points, the club was under the stewardship of Sadiq Ssempigi. They were joined by Kataka FC, Blacks Power and Ntugasaze in the UPL that will next season have 18 teams.
