Former Bulemeezi head coach Leo Ssekamatte has been appointed as Kyaggwe assistant coach, Swift Sports Uganda understands.

Ssekamatte was earlier this week relieved off his duties at Bulemeezi after just two games in charge but has now found solace at his former paymasters Kyaggwe.

Last year he was among Simon Peter Mugerwa’s assistants at Kyaggwe he now joins the technical staff led by Ronald Ssali.

He worked with Ssali during their tenure at Buweekula and now the duo will serve again together at Kyaggwe.

Yassa Abdul, Ssekiziyivu Juma and Kyeswa William are the other assistant coaches at Kyaggwe while Asadu Bugembe is the goalkeeping coach.

Denis Kizito alias Deman Denol who works as the fitness coach at Lugazi FC will serve in the same capacity at Kyaggwe.

Ironically, Ssekamatte’s former paymasters Bulemeezi will take on Kyaggwe in their next game on Sunday. Kyaggwe has already managed six points while Bulemeezi under the stewardship of David Mutono are seeking for maximum points.

Mutono also previously served at Kyaggwe guiding them to their first ever Masaza Cup final in 2024, losing to Buddu at Namboole.
