Entebbe UPPC have appointed Richard Kansole as their new goalkeeping coach following the departure of Swaibu Ssebagala.
Ssebagala who served as the goalkeeping coach at the Entebbe based side joined Jimmy Kintu Mwera’s URA FC.
Kansole last season was part of Hussein Mbalangu’s coaching staff at URA but has now reunited with Abdallah Mubiru.
The pair previously served together at Police FC and now Kansole will be tasked at helping the goalkeeping department thrive next season. Last term, Entebbe recorded 16 clean sheets in the Uganda Premier League.
Kansole has previously served at Police FC, Kitara FC, Wakiso Giants and SC Villa all in the Uganda Premier League.
During the 2024/25 seaon while at Kitara FC, Kansole helped current URA goalkeeper Chrispas Kusiima to 16 clean sheets.
He also worked with Ssingo, Gomba and Mawokota in the prestigious Buganda Kingdom organised Masaza Cup.
Entebbe UPPC have so far signed Sharif Ssengendo, Grant Mastiko Swadik Moro, Ibrahim Mugulusi among others in this transfer window.
Entebbe UPPC FC will be seeking to have an improved season having finished 6th on the UPL table last season.
