Bugerere appoint former winner as new head coach to save season

Ahead of the high intense second round of the Masaza cup, struggling Bugerere have announced changes into their technical department.

2016 winning coach Steven Bogere has been appointed the new head coach and has been tasked to initially help them negotiate through the group stages. He will work with Edward Deogracious Ssemwanga as his first assistant.

The second assistant head coach will be Nsubuga Zakariya while Muhammad Byansi takes over as the new goalkeepers coach.

Bugerere finished the first round fifth in Muganzirwaza group after collecting only five points from five games.

The second round of the tournament will begin on 1st- August.

Bogere’s men will host Ssingo at Ntenjeru Ssaza grounds on 2nd- August, the first round between the two sides ended 1-0 in favor of Ssingo at Ssaza grounds Mityana.
