David GOMBE Henock Inonga Baka scored the all important goal as Simba beat Vipers SC 1-0 in the group C contest at Kitende. This was the first ever continental club match under floodlights in Uganda. The Venoms have now gone six games without a goal across all competitions (540minutes) since Beto Bianchi took over. David GOMBE The FUFA Referees discipilinary panel has suspended assistant Referee Khalid Muyaga for six months for unjustified extraordinary incorrect decision. Muyaga cancelled SC Villa’s goal during their Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 contest against BUL FC at Njeru Technical centre. After his six months suspension, Muyaga will not be allowed to officiate in the 1st Division as well as the Stanbic Uganda Cup in the following season. Muyaga sanctioned with; 1. David GOMBE The FUFA Disciplinary panel has ordered the replay of the Stanbic Uganda Cup of 32 tie between BUL FC and SC Villa. Villa filed a petition following their disallowed goal in the match that was played on February, 17th 2023 at FUFA Technical centre in Njeru. BUL FC who are the reigning Stanbic Uganda Cup champions had eliminated Villa at the round of 32 courtesy of a Ronald Otti goal. Gladys ZAWEDDE The West Nile Region Football Associations Competitions Disciplinary Panel has fined Paidha Black Angels for the misconduct exhibited in their match against Paidha United on Sunday 12th February at Bar Okoro Stadium. The Derby ended prematurely in the 87th minute after James Tekakwo had scored for Paidha United. Paidha Black Angels have now lost the game by forfeiture and the club CEO Bakis Yahaya will have to a pay a fine of 500000/= not later than 28th-February. Muhammad Shaban netted a brace in the first half before the visitors cut th deficit through Isaac Ogwang. Rogers Mato restored the home side’s two goal advantage at the hour mark. Minister Ogwang flagged off the team for Casablanca, Morocco on Thursday evening at Copper Chimney Restaurant in Kampala.
