Big League side Mbale Heroes have contacted former Solitilo Bright Stars tactician Asaph Mwebaze for their vacant head coaching role.

The role fell vacant following the departure of Abbey Bogere Kikomeko who joined BUL FC in June after guiding Mbale Heroes to the second tier of Ugandan football last season.

This website understands that Mwebaze and his representatives have already spoken with the Mbale based side for a couple of days to take over helms at the club.

Mbale Heroes believe that Mwebaze is the right man to oversee their project and transform the team’s fortunes during the forthcoming Big League season.

Mwebaze was recently relieved of his services Bright Stars. He has previously managed at Maroons FC, Onduparaka FC, Nyamityobora FC and the Soccer Shots Houston Texas U-17 Academy.

Mbale Heroes have already signed former JMC Hippos, MYDA and BUL FC striker Ibrahim Nsimbe.
