BIKA FOOTBALL: Holders Ndiga bow out as favourites Ffumbe edge Nkima

Bika Byabaganda Football defending champions Ndiga have bowed out of the competition after suffering a 3-2 defeat to Ngabi Nsamba at the round of 32.

Sula Malouda Matovu scored a hat trick for Ngabi Nsamba hence eliminating the defending champions.

Dan Mzee Sserunkuma and Reagan goals were not enough for the defending champions to proceed to the next round.

Favorites Ffumbe defeated Nkima 1-0 storming the group stages courtsey of Muhammad Senoga Kagawa’s penalty.

Andrew Kaggwa, Allan Kayiwa, Ibrahim Kasinde and Daraus Kiwanuka scored each in Kkobe’s 4-1 victory against Njovu at Wakisha.

Seif Batte’s goal stood only to be a consolation for Njovu.

Davis Kasirye was the hero scoring twice in Nvuma’s victory against Olunyo Olulangira.

Olulyo Olulangira scored through experienced striker Frank Kalanda.

Empindi, Omutima Omusagi, Omusu, Olugave, Ngaali, Engo, Ensenene, Mbogo, Engabi Ensamba, Engeye, Effumbe, Ekinyomo, Ekkobe, Engoonge, Omtima Omuyanja and Nvuma are the 16 teams that have progressed to the group stages awaiting draws.
