Express FC’s tricky and fast paced winger, Michael Birungi is set to join newly promoted topflight side Kyetume FC.
Swift Sports understands that Birungi failed to reach an agreement with Express and has now agreed to cross over to Kyetume FC on two year employment contract.

Birungi can comfortably play on either wings and sometimes as a center forward. He joined the Wankulukuku based side at the start of the 2017/18 season.
Last season, he helped the six time Ugandan champions reach the Stanbic Uganda Cup semifinals, losing to Bright Stars in a penalty shootout.
Birungi has also featured for UTODA FC, KCCA FC and Sudanese side Al Khartoum. At Kyetume FC, he will join Sam Ssenkomi, Joel Mutakubwa, Isaac Kirabira, Baker Buyala and Juluis Ntambi as the other new signings at the club.
