FUFA confirms Venue for 2024 Stanbic Uganda Cup Final

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has confirmed the venue for the 50th edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup Final.

The 2024 Stanbic Uganda Cup Final will be contested between NEC FC and Kitara FC at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku on Saturday, 25th May.

Muteesa II Stadium is the host venue for two historic Ugandan football clubs SC Villa and Express FC.

NEC FC stormed to the final after eliminating 2022 winners BUL FC 3-1 after a two legged semifinal while Kitara FC powered past Pajule Lions 4-1 on aggregate.

The final between the two sides means that there will be a new name winner this year since both sides are featuring in their first ever final.

Express FC and KCCA FC are the record competition winners with each on ten trophies followed by SC Villa with nine.

Vipers SC are the previous winners following their 1-0 triumph over Police FC in the final that was held at Akii-bua Stadium in Lira last year.

Milton Karisa scored the only goal of the game as Vipers completed a historic Cup double.
