Former Uganda Cranes Goalkeeping coach Fred Kajoba has named himself, Milutin Sredojević alias Micho and Moses Basena as historical coaches in Ugandan football.

The former Vipers SC head coach revealed that himself, Micho and Basena are historicals in Ugandan football since they ended the Cranes 38 year wait without taking part in the Africa Cup of Nations final tournament.

“Come what may, the historical coaches in Ugandan football are Micho, Basena and myself. We did a great job to end the Uganda Cranes’ 38 year wait without participating in the final tournament of the Africa Cup of Nations. We are historicals in the history of Ugandan football.”

Said Kajoba before adding,

“The 1978 coaches did their part and I appreciate them for the tremendous work during their time but we are the true historicals.” Said Kajoba

Micho was in attendance during the UPL double header at new Namboole

Kajoba was the Goalkeeping coach when the Uganda Cranes qualified for the 2017 Continental showpiece with Micho as the head coach and Basena serving as the assistant coach.
