Mbarara city miss chance to close in on Kitara with defeat to Kyetume

Mbarara City wasted a massive opportunity to close gap on table leaders Kitara FC after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Kyetume FC at Nakisunga grounds in Mukono.

Kitara have also been held by Ndejje University in Luwero.

Ezra Brian Kaye and David Oyedda were the goal scorers for the Mukono based entity.

Victory lifts Kyetume FC to ninth with 30 points from 24 games

Mbarara City remain second with 43 points three behind leaders Kitara FC who drew 2-2 with Ndejje University.

The two teams will play their next games on Thursday 13th April.

Kyetume FC will visit Jinja North United FC at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe

The Ankole Lions will next play Kitara FC at Kigaya grounds in Hoima

Match day 24 will climax on Friday 7th April as Jinja North United FC hosted Booma FC at Kyabazinga Stadium.
