Ndejje University FC at risk of being dissolved following board decision

The management of Ndejje University has decided to dissolve their football team, Swift Sports Uganda can reliably confirm.

Sources reveal that board reached the decision after a meeting that was held today.

AirForce in Entebbe are however believed to be interested in buying the FUFA Big League entity.

Financial woes and poor performances are some of the reasons as to why the board has embarked on the surprising decision.

The other reason cited is the death of their head coach Komakech Raymond Timothy that occured in October last year.

For starters, Ndejje University FC is one of the founding clubs of the FUFA Big League in 2009.

They gained topflight status in 2018 before they were relegated in 2019 after finishing 14th on UPL table.

This season, Ndejje University FC finished the first round of the FUFA Big League second from the bottom with 10 points and 6 points away from safety.
