Patrick Mbowa to join Vipers SC

Uganda Premier league and Uganda Cup Champions Vipers SC have agreed terms with former URA FC defender Paul Patrick Mbowa.

Mbowa is expected to put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the Kitende based.

He will join the Venoms as a free agent following expiration of his employment contract at his former side URA FC.

The Mpindi clan captain can ably play as a central defender as well as a defensive midfielder. He is a former SC Villa and Victoria University (defunct) player.

At Vipers he will reunite with his former teammates at URA FC Asharaf Mandela and Siraje Sentamu.

The Venoms are to represent Uganda at the 2023/24 CAF Champions league.

Last week, the Kitende based side appointed Brazilian tactician Leonard Martins Neiva as Alex Isabirye’s replacement.

Vipers have already signed five players who are Grant Mastiko, Brazilian s Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez, Luiz Otavio Santos de Araujo commonly known as Tinga, Richard Matovu and David Bagoole.
