Uganda Cranes depart for Ouagadougou

Uganda Cranes team has departed for Ouagadougou aboard Uganda Airlines ahead of their AFCON 2021 qualifier away to Burkina Faso on Wednesday.

Denis Onyango, Hassan Wasswa Mawanda, Murushid Juuko, Farouk Miya and Emmanuel Arnold Okwi headline the traveling team.

Vipers’ duo of Fahad Bayo and Halid Lwaliwa as well as the KCCA FC trio of goalkeeper Charles Lukwago, Nicholas Kasozi and Allan Okello are the only locally based players part of the team.

They will link up with Michael Azira (Chicago Fire, USA), William Kizito Luwagga,Timothy Awany, Abdu Lumala, Alexis Bbakka and Patrick Henry Kaddu in Burkina Faso.
