Richard Malinga will be in charge of Mawokota Ssaza when they host Busiro this weekend but remains under pressure to keep his job.

Malinga faced further scrutiny after sustaining a 3-1 defeat to Mawogola last Saturday.

Sources reveal that Malinga may face the sack if he fails to register victory over Busiro on Sunday at Buwama.

In the defeat at Mawogola, frustrated Mawokota fans called for Malinga’s sacking but his bosses decided to at least maintain him for the game against Busiro.

Before the loss to Mawogola, the three time Masaza Cup winners Mawokota had played out to back to back draws against Kabula and Ssese.

Malinga started spectacularly well this term with consecutive wins against Busiro and Gomba but the recent performances have put his job on the line.

Mawokota last won the competition in 2013 beating Ssingo 1-0 in final that was held at Nakivubo stadium. Farouk Miya scored the all important goal.
