Vipers SC sign young striker Mukwala Steven

Vipers SC has completed the signing of youthful striker Mukwala Steven from Rubaga 1st division club Edgar’s Youth FC on a 3 year contract.

Mukwala who has scored 3 times for Ssingo in this year’s Masaza cup, has been a reliable goalscorer in the Masaza Cup netting 5 times last year and 6 times in 2015 for Bulemeezi.

Mukwala becomes Vipers’ third signing of the preseason window supplementing a list that includes Left back Yayo Lutimba and midfielder Tadeo Lwanga who came from URA FC and SC Villa respectively

“I am delighted to make this move. Its amazing to join Vipers because its one of the giants in Uganda. Playing in the league for the first time in a big club like Vipers is a good start for me.” Said Mukwala.

Mukwala was also an instrumental figure in Copa Cola national Post Primary schools championship in 2016 helping Kibuli SS to win the tournament in Soroti.

He also joins a competitive forward line that comprises a mixture of experience and young blood in Tony Odur, Erisa Sekisambu, Milton Kaliisa, Pius Wangi, Francis Onekalit, Alfred Leku and Esenu Musa. Vipers finished fruitless last season for the first time since 2014 coming 3rd in the league.
