Joshua Lubwama Letti has been unveiled as the first signing of URA FC in the January transfer window
The tax collectors are in a bid to bolster their squad after letting go of some senior players including captain Shafiq Kagimu and striker Derrick Nsibambi.
At his unveiling, the lanky midfielder who can ably play in defence expressed his delight at joining the tax collectors and also vowed to help improve their current disappointing table position.
“I am happy to join URA FC, it’s a dream come true as this one is one of the biggest clubs in the country. I am aware of the club’s position and one of my targets with th help of my teammates is to help the tea back to where they belong”.
Lubwama joins URA with a vast range of experience having previously played for BUL FC and Wakiso Giants in the Uganda premier league.
He has also achieved some international experience having represented Uganda in the CAF beach soccer AFCON in Mozambique late last year.
As earlier reported by this website, the tax collectors are also understood to have finalised deals for striker Bruno Bunyaga and midfielder Nicholas Kabonge.
