He was part of the Kitara team that beat Mechal Sports Club 2-0 in an international friendly in Ethiopia held on July 14th.

Aheebwa scored Kitara’s first goal against Libya’s Al Hilal Benghazi in the first leg 3-2 defeat of the CAF Confederation Cup about a fortnight ago.

Besides featuring for KCCA and Kitara, Aheebwa rose to the limelight with Mbarara City, a side he inspired promotion to the Uganda Premier League in 2017.

Arba Minch City, nicknamed “The Crocodiles” were promoted back to the Ethiopian Premier League at the end of last season.
