Action of the Jinja district USSSA qualifiers will resume tomorrow but not with one of the teams which had initially made it to the quarter finals.
Wairaka modern has officially been disqualified after being petitioned by Viva college for fielding an ineligible player in the name of Ejulu.
“Viva provided enough evidence to convince the committee that Wairaka modern fielded an ineligible player. That young man played in the name of Ejulu yet his real name is Ewuku Quina.” explains Musota Daniel
Kiira college Butiki had also petitioned Jinja comprehensive for fielding an ineligible player but failed to produce satisfactory evidence which now means Jinja comprehensive will face with Viva tomorrow 11am at Kakindu.
In other fixtures, Jinja SS will take on Jinja city college at Kakindu while JIPRA will play Lubani SS at Bugembe stadium at 9am while St Joseph SS Nakanyonyi will lock horns with Lakeside SS Masese at 11am at Kyabazinga stadium Bugembe.
The semi finals will be played on the same day at 3pm the the final will be held on Monday 3rd April at Kakindu stadium
