FUFA Women Super League champions Kampala Queens have continued with their spending spree with another big signing of Catherine Nagadya.
Nagadya put pen to paper on a three year contract, Swift Sports reliably confirms.
The U20 national team forward is regarded as one of the highly rated players in the country currently and was arguably Uganda Martyrs’ best player last season.
Nagadya scored seven league goals and provided 12 assists (more than any player) in the 17 games she played for the Lubaga school side.
She capped her brilliant season with an all important goal that won the FUFA Women’s Cup against She Maroons in Kumi last weekend.
Nagadya reportedly had a year left on her contract but she is expected to come along with her sister and teammate Patience Nabulobi who is also regarded as one of the best defenders in the country currently.
Nagadya is currently in the U18 national team camp in Njeru ahead of the forthcoming CECAFA tournament to be held in Kenya.
Kampala Queens are in preparations for the CECAFA Club’s tournament which serves as the Zonal Qualifiers for the CAF Women’s Champions League.
The moneybags have already signed Kawempe Muslim trio of Shakira Nyinagahirwa, Hadija Nandago and Samalie Nakacwa on loan.
