Maroons FC has confirmed the departure of five (5) players following the expiration of their employment contracts with the Club.
These are midfieder Brian Nkuubi, Samson Kigozi and Noel Nasasira and Brian Kayanja.
Kayanja returns to his parent club KCCA FC following expiration of his one year loan deal at Maroons.
Goalkeeper Simon Tamale left the club for greener pastures at Rwanda’s Rayon Sport.
He joined the Rwanda Premier league side on a one year employment contract after expiration of his deal at Maroons.
Tamale kept 13 clean sheets in the league last season and was named the Pilsner UPL best goalkeeper.
Nkuubi a former Vipers SC and URA FC player is set to join Uganda Premier league record champions SC Villa.
Maroons have already rewarded their head coach Muhammad Senfuma with a new three year deal. Last season, Senfuma’s side managed to accumulate 41 points from 28 games they played.
