FUFA Women Super League newbies Wakiso Hill WFC have signed versatile defender Fatumah Nakasumba on a two year contract.
Nakasumba joins the Wakiso based club from Asubo Gafford Ladies FC.
The workaholic defender played an integral role as Asubo Gafford Ladies raced to topflight safety in the closing half of last season.
Nakasumba is a tried and tested player who has previously featured for Lady Doves, Makerere University, Kampala Queens and Uganda Martyrs among others.
Nakasumba is a FUFA Women Super League winner with Lady Doves in 2021, a Women Cup and Elite League winner with Makerere University in 2019 and 2022 respectively.
She is a versatile defender who can ably play across the defense line.
Nakasumba is the second signing of the club after left back Banura Phoebe who was signed from She Corporate on a two year contract.
The club is expected to sign a number of players in a bid to enhance chances of competing in the topflight league.
