Masaza Cup organizing committee chairman Hajji Sulaiman Ssejjengo has confirmed changes in the final round of group stage fixtures.
According to Ssejjengo all games will be played on Sunday, 3rd September at 3PM
“We are at the final round of the group stage and as a committee we have decided that all games are to be played on the same day. The games will start at 3PM instead of 4PM to enable fans travel safely and so we don’t expect any delays.” Stated Ssejjengo.
On Sunday, Buddu will face off with Buluuli in the winner takes all contest at Masaka Recreation ground.
Both sides are on 13 points in Masengere Group game and the winner of contest will prevail to the Quarterfinal stage.
In the same Group, Kyadondo will entertain Kyaggwe. Kyadondo are on 12 points while Kyaggwe are second in the group with 14 points.
Meanwhile, four teams have already qualified to the knockout phase these are Ssingo, Mawokota, Gomba and Buwekula.
