Right back Dennis Rukundo completes return to Uganda Premier League

Former KCCA defender Dennis Rukundo has completed a return to Maroons FC, Swift Sports understands.

Rukundo has been a free agent after leaving Rwanda’s AS Kigali at the end of his two year employment contract.

He has joined the Prison Warders on a six month contract.

Rukundo is a Rwanda national team player born to a Rwandan father and a Ugandan mother.

He started his senior team career with Maroons before joining KCCA in 2016.

The roving right back also featured for APR FC in Rwanda as well as Ugandan sides The Saints FC and Police FC.

He was part of the Maroons team that drew goalless with Vipers SC in a pre-season friendly played yesterday at Luzira.

The Muhammad Senfuma coached side will open up their new season campaign with an away duel against Wakiso Giants on Sunday 17th September.

Maroons have roped in Hannington Ssebwalunyo, Jackson Nunda, Baden Mujahid and Derrick Emukule among others.
