Vipers goalkeeper ruled out for three months due to finger injury

Vipers SC have confirmed that there goalkeeper Alfred Mudekereza will be out of action for three months.

According to the Kitende based side Mudekereza has undergone a detection and immobilization of his fractured left small finger that he sustained last season.

The Congolese custodian joined Vipers SC at the start of last season as a free agent on a three year employment contract.

Jack Komakech and Burundian international Fabien Mutombora are the two goalkeepers who will be fighting for a starting place.

Mudekereza joins other long-term absentees at the club who are; Allan Okello expected to feature for the club at the start of the second round and Ghananian striker Fumador Asiwome.

Defender Hilary Mukundane is also continuing with his recovery and has returned to the turf.

New signing Erick Kenzo Kambale is expected to be fully fit for the Venoms next fixture against SC Villa on 20th October at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
