Isabirye takes over at Express on interim basis

Express FC have appointed Alex Isabirye Musongola as their new head coach on interim basis.

Isabirye replaces James Odoch who was sacked after the 1-1 stalemate against BUL FC on Tuesday.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Isabirye will guide Express for a period of one month.

The former Vipers SC tactician will officially start his duties against against SC Villa on Friday at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

Isabirye returns into management since his departure at Vipers SC in July this year.

At Vipers he won the Uganda Premier league and Stanbic Uganda Cup last season.

He was named as the coach of the season in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League Awards in July.

Besides Vipers, Isabirye has previously coached URA FC, BUL FC, Kyetume FC, SC Victoria University, Soana FC, Kirinya Jinja SS and Somalia’s Horseed FC among others.
