Serbian tactician Dusan Stojanovic is believed to have lost elements of dressing room at record Uganda Premier league winners SC Villa.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that some players are questioning Stojanovic’s team selection and his treatment of Ivan Sserubiri.
Sources reveal that Stojanovic has also lost support in the SC Villa dressing room over the ongoing stand-off with Sserubiri, who is yet to start a game for the club this term.
This website also understands that a group of players is becoming disenchanted with the Serbian after the 16 time Ugandan champions slumped to an abject 2-1 home defeat to arch-rivals KCCA FC last week.
The development comes days after Vipers SC sacked their head coach Leonard Martins Neiva.
Stojanovic replaced Jackson Magera at the helms of the record winners and became the sixth foreign tactician to manage at the club, others are Englishman Geoff Hudson, Serbia’s Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic, Serbian Zivojnov Srdjan, Spanish Antonio Flores and Greek coach Petros Koukouras.
The Serbian will be seeking to make amends when SC Villa travel to Wakiso Giants on Saturday. They are currently sixth placed with 19 points they have garnered this term.
