Following his team’s false start in the Uganda Premier league when they fell to an embarrassing 3-1 defeat to NEC FC, newly appointed Vipers SC tactician Nikola Kavazovic has asked whomever thinks his team will win the league should have a second thought.
He was reacting to a question posed to him by journalist Clive Kyazze whether he thinks his team will recover from this defeat and mount a title challenge.
” Everyone who thinks Vipers will the league should ask himself that, is this a realistic picture? “
He exclaimed.
The Serb further added when reminded that the season still games to be played for him to throw in the towel this early yet Vipers are always regarded as favourites.
“You are very right with 29 games left , everything is possible. We can win the league trophy, the cup or even get relegated to the second division “
When asked to expound on his targets for the season visavis that of management, Kavazovic said that,

“Their target is to win the league and go to the CAF Champions league but my realistic ambition is to finish in the top three and try reach the CAF cups”
Kavazovic was appointed in June this year to replace Charles Livingston Mbabazi.
He will hope for redemption when Vipers host Express FC on Thursday 9th at St. Mary’s Kitende.
