SC Villa are likely to strengthen their squad during the January transfer window, but there will also be potential departures.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that close to four players will leave the club this window.
These include Peter Onzima, Rogers Atukunda, Aslam Ssemakula, Cyrus Kibande, Juma Ramathan and Charles Batibwe.
Winger Onzima has at least seen some action this season and has proven to be a useful squad player.
However, Dusan Stojanovic clearly doesn’t rate him enough to give him a proper run in the team and Onzima may want to seek regular minutes elsewhere.
Midfielder Batibwe joined the record Uganda Premier league champions from Big League side Kiyinda Boys.
The midfielder has been a fringe player in SC Villa squad since his arrival in the previous transfer window.

Aslam Semakula is the other name on the exit door at SC Villa. He joined the record champions in 2020 from Nakawa 4th division Side Kyanja FC but sources reveal that the club has opted to let him go.
Rogers Atukunda, Juma Ramathan and Cyrus Kibande are the others on the list of players set to leave SC Villa.
The club is ready to let go all the above mentioned players to free up plenty of room for potential new recruits this transfer window.
SC Villa finished the first round in fifth place with 26 points they collected in 15 games.
