KCCA FC have expressed strong interest in signing striker Emmanuel Ajo from Busoga United, Swift Sports understands.
Ajo is Busoga’s shining light this season having scored four goals and one assist in the 15 games played so far.
Signing Ajo looks like a bargain for KCCA but Busoga United have set a 50M price tag on their youthful striker which makes the deal unlikely to materialize.
KCCA are desperately looking for a striker before the close of the January transfer window.
They have previously expressed interest in signing Denis Omedi from Kitara and Express leading striker Isaac Wagoina but their attempts emerged unsuccessful.
There is a need to find a back up for Shaban Muhammad who is their leading scorer so far with eight goals.
Ajo is one of the revelations of this season having moved to Busoga United from forth tier side Kakira United on a two year contract.
