The organisers of the Fortebet Real Stars monthly awards have revealed the winner of the month of January, 2024.
The winners were rewarded on Tuesday morning at Lazio Restaurant in Kololo at the event that was graced by Isaac Mukasa (CEO Real Stars Agency)Fortebet Uganda ambassador Alex Muhangi and and Henry Zzimbe from Jude Color Solutions.
Kamada Ntege was named the best in boxing category beating Isaac Zebra Jr and Farahat Manirola to the accolade.

Ntege clinched the ABU East and Central Regional title after powering past Ali Hamis Muzei from Tanzania at Club Obligato last month.
In Rugby, Grace Nabaggala clinched the January gong beating competition from Peace Lekuru and Malcolm Okello.

Nabaggala who features for the Kisubi Pacers and Lady Rugby Cranes Sevens helped the Ladies to finish fourth in Dubai Challenger event.
She garnered 25 points with an addition of four from the conversion to make a total of 29 points.
Youngster Joseph Ssebatindira was named the best in Table Tennis after overcoming stiff competition from Jemimah Nakawala and Jonathan Ssenyonga.

The youngster beat Saudi Arabia’s Faris Ali 3-0 at the World Table Tennis Youth contender in Doha and went on to win the U-13 category after thumping host’s AbdulAziz Abdullah by 3-1.
Meanwhile, Weatherhead midfielder Collins Batusa clinched the Hockey best of January after overcoming Kampala’s Lucky Akello and Wananchi’s Jordan Achaye, who were the other nominees.

Batusa helped his side win the men’s National Hockey League and Uganda Cup in the same month. He scored one goal in the league game against KHC Stallions and assisted for Maxwell Mugisa’s goal.
