Former KCCA FC midfielder Mutyaba joins Big League side

Midfielder Muzamiru Mutyaba has joined FUFA Big League side Mbale Heroes on a short term employment contract , Swift Sports Uganda understands.

Mutyaba joins the Asaph Mwebaze coached side as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Rwanda Premier league side Kiyovu.

The former KCCA FC Midfielder has recently been training with the Mbale Heroes.

In 2021, Mutyaba joined Kiyovu FC from Express FC on a two year employment.

At Express FC, Mutyaba helped them lift the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League title and was also a key member as the Red Eagles lifted the 2021 CECAFA Kagame Cup that was held in Tanzania.

Besides Express FC and Kiyovu, Mutyaba also featured for SC Victoria University and KCCA FC.

He enjoyed a lot of success at KCCA FC, winning several titles including three league titles, Uganda Cup (2) and Pilsner Super 8 and Fufa Super Cup.

Mbale Heroes are currently third placed on the FUFA Big League table and will host Kataka FC in their first game of the second round.
