Kyetume FC have appointed former Uganda Cranes midfielder Augustine Nsumba as their new head coach.

Nsumba takes charge of the FUFA Big League club a week after leaving Express FC where he was serving as an assistant to Alex Isabirye.

He returns to Kyetume a side he previously coached and takes over from Hamid Kibirango who has been at the helms of the club.

Nsumba also previously coached at Lugazi FC, URA FC and Kyaggwe in the Masaza Cup tournament.

As a player Nsumba featured for IBV in Iceland, URA FC, SC Villa and BUL FC before hanging his boots.

He has his work cut out to turn fortunes and guided the Slaughters to survive relegation in the closing half of the season.

Kyetume currently sit 12th on the Big League table with 17 points from 16 games played so far.

His immediate task will be a home duel against Onduparaka FC at Nakisunga Grounds in Mukono on Sunday 10th March.
