Kitara FC cruised to a 3-0 comfortable win over URA FC at Masindi Municipal Stadium on Thursday.
Brian Ssenyondo coached side go four points clear on the Uganda Premier league table.
Goals from Denis Omedi, Jude Semugabi and Kabon Living saw Kitara return to winning ways and extended their lead at the top.
David Obua’s men finished with ten men after Ivan Ahimbisibwe’s red card.
Omedi gave the home side an early lead in the 5th minute of the contest before Semugabi doubled their advantage in the 37th minute.
Kabon Living put the seal on the win in the second minute of added time.
Omedi is now joint UPL top scorer alongside Bright Stars Nelson Senkatuka and KCCA FC’s Muhammad Shaban with the trio tied on eleven goals.
Kitara FC are now on 43 points, four above second placed BUL FC while URA FC stay seventh on the table with 31 points.
