New York Red Bulls II midfielder Ibrahim Kasule has been named the Player of the Month Award for March of the MLS NEXT Pro League.
Kasule scored two goals and registered two assists in his two first games of the season against Columbus Crew 2 and Inter Miami CF II.
He impressively registered two assists in a 2-0 win over Columbus Crew 2 before scoring a brace against Inter Miami CF II.
Kasule has officially become the first player in the league’s history to win the award three separate times.
He previously won the MLS NEXT Pro Player of the Month Award in the months of July and August last season.
He has scored a total of 20 goals and registered eight assists across all competitions since he joined New York Red Bulls II from Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants last year.
The Ibrahim Ssekagya coached side will return to action on Wednesday 10th April away against New York City FC II at the Belson Stadium in New York.
