The 2024 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Fresh Diary games climaxed on Saturday, 4th May in Ndejje, Luweero.
The games in Luweero had seven sports disciplines which are Girls football, Rugby [girls and boys], Basketball [girls and boys], Badminton [girls and boys], Lown Tennis [girls and boys], Table Tennis [girls and boys], Hockey [girls and boys].
This time the girls’ football championship was halted due to the National U-17 Women’s team that is preparing for the forthcoming world Cup qualifiers.
Kibuli SS clinched five gold medals in Badminton (boys), Lawn Tennis both in the Boys and Girls category, Table Tennis both boys and girls.
Kakungulu Memorial was second on medal table after winning both the Hockey boys and girls trophies.
Meanwhile, St Mary’s Boarding Secondary Kitende clinched the girls Basketball trophy after overcoming their rivals St. Noa in the epic final on Saturday.
