Umar Semata’s victory over Moses Golola was cut short by the referee during their kickboxing fight at the newly refurbished Nakivubo Stadium on the grand opening day.
Semata had initially won the fight courtesy of 100-40 points decision before the referee decided that he had been deducted points.
According to the referee, Semata used throwing techniques that are not allowed in the K1 style.
The referee therefore decided that following points deduction, the fight between the two fighters ended in a draw.
Before their fight on Saturday, Semata and Golola had previously met twice with each smiling to victory once.
It remains to be seen whether the two fighters will face off again in a rematch that could settle it for last time in their careers.
