Six time Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC have named coach Richard Wasswa Sseruyange as the director in charge of youth programs.
The development was confirmed by club President Dr Lawrence Mulindwa during the unveiling of new club head coach Nikola Kavazovic.
Wasswa has been serving as the interim head coach at the Venoms a role he took over in April this year following the departure of Charles Livingstone Mbabazi.
Following the arrival of Serbian tactician Kavazovic, Wasswa will now embark on the role of Director in charge of Youth football at Kitende.
Meanwhile, Vipers SC have retained assistants Fred Muhumuza who joined the club in April from URA FC and Jose Esdras Costa Lopes.
Ali Kimera will remain as the goalkeeping coach a role he assumed following the departure of Ibrahim Mugisha at the end of last year. Michael Lule is the team doctor, the club is also expected to name another assistant coach as well as a video analyst.
Vipers had a disappointing 2023/24 campaign as they finished trophyless for the first time in five years.
