Romanian sides CFR Cluj and Rapid Bucuresti are interested in signing Uganda Cranes defender Elio Capradossi.
Capradossi is currently a free agent following expiration of his employment contract at Italian Serie B side Lecco.
According to the Nerve Africa, both CFR Cluj and Rapid Bucuresti have expressed interest in signing the defender this transfer window.
Capradossi made his Uganda Cranes debut in the 1-0 victory over Botswana in the World Cup qualifier match at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole in June.
He also featured for Paul Put’s side in the 2-1 defeat to Algeria but impressed in both games.
Besides Lecco, Carpadossi has played for other Italian clubs such as SSC Bari, SPAL, Spezia and at AS Roma where he spent his youth career.
He represented Italy at the U-17, U-19 and U-20 national teams before he switched to playing for Uganda’s senior national team.
