Rwanda Premier league Giants APR FC are interested in signing Ugandan defender Gift Fred.
Gift is expected to part with Tanzania giants Young Africans this transfer window and APR FC are now scrambling for his signature.
He joined Young Africans at the start of the 2023/24 season on a three year employment contract but has been limited to playing time since making a move.
Ibrahim Bacca, Dickson Job and captain Bakari Mwamnyeto were the central defenders that were entrusted more at Young Africans last season.
Gift has also previously featured for Villa from third tier side Booma FC and also played for Gomba in the prestigious Buganda Masaza Cup tournament where he won the 2020 edition.
In case his move to APR FC materializes, Gift will join another former SC Villa captain Taddeo Lwanga at the club.
