Geoffrey Ngalire the newly appointed Head coach for Jinja College (JICO) promises to build future national team players.
Ngalire made the remarks in a press conference held at the school premises in Jinja after his appointment,
“”I am very privileged to be part of Jinja College. I want to thank management for giving me this platform. The first time I was here,I was doing my internship and it’s through the performance I have put forward in FUFA TV Cup that management saw that I am worthy. ”
“We have a crop of talented young players that I think if we choose to focus on, we can contribute towards the performance of football in the country; because I believe that if we try to build following the master plan of the federation, it’s very possible to develop players who can be called up for national duty and who can make Uganda to qualify for the next World Cup according to the strategy.”

He was also a volunteer coach at Jinja SS (now Busoga United) and is currently the assistant head coach Butembe County in the ongoing Busoga Masaza Cup tournament.
