“We have invested a lot in the school team starting with the technical staff and players. We have great coaches who are brilliant in their job.” This is a victory which is worthy celebration and I thank everyone who has done a great role towards this victory.” Said Sserunjogi

Majority of the players who were part of the triumphant St.Julian football team were products of Rays of Grace Academy.

Rays of Grace academy director, Roberts Kiwanuka was impressed to see their partnership with St.Julian yield fruits of glory

“As Rays of Grace academy we are happy that our partnership with St.Julian has yielded fruits. This victory started way back when we launched the Odilo football competition in 2019.” This generation of players has been a deliberate move by FUFA to create opportunities for young players from all grassroots and households to have an opportunity to play.” Said Kiwanuka who is also the chairman Uganda Youth Football Association

Kirumira thanked Sserunjogi for investing in School football

“I take this opportunity to thank Sserunjogi for investing in School football. We all know football is costly, it’s not easy to sustain a football team in Uganda. The amount of money he has invested in winning that just this trophy can be used to construct another school.” Stated Kirumira

At the same event, musicians Ffefe Busi and Karole Kasita entertained the guests at the glamorous event.
