Express FC have completed the signing of goalkeeper Emmanuel Kalyowa on a one year contract, Swift Sports reliably understands.

Kalyowa has been a free agent after parting ways with Rwanda Premier League giants Kiyovu Sports last season.

The experienced goalkeeper recently dragged Kiyovu to the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber for illegally terminating his three year employment contract.

He comes in to fill the void left by Abdul Kimera who recently left the club after two seasons.

Kalyowa will be a huge boost for the Express goalkeeping department that also has Baker Yunus and new signing Michael Kagiri.

Kalyowa comes with loads of experience having previously featured for BUL FC, SC Victoria University, Kyetume FC, URA FC and Kenya’s Sofapaka among others.

His most recent notable exploit was winning the Best Goalkeeper Award as BUL FC won the Stanbic Uganda Cup in 2022.
