BUL FC started on top with Kirya forcing custodian Mutwalib Mugolofa into a decent save.
KCCA FC also had a great opportunity when Etienne Katenga had goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa to beat but his effort went wide. At the halftime breather, it was goalless.
Early in the second period, BUL’s Mutakubwa into a double save to deny James Mubezi and Katenga.
Second half substitute Mugume who replaced Bright Anukani gave the visitors the lead heading home a perfect Saidi Mayanja at the hour mark.
Kirya restored parity for the hosts with a powerful shot to beat goalie Mugolofa.
The stalemate sees KCCA FC move to four points while BUL FC remain winless this term.
