Debutants Lugazi FC will have to wait longer to for their maiden goal and victory in the Uganda Premier League.
They lost their second consecutive game after a 1-0 loss to UPDF FC at Bbombo Military Barracks Grounds.
New signing Andrew Samson Kigozi scored the only goal in the game that handed the Army side the three points.
Kigozi found the back in the net in the 78th minute by converting Hussein Zzinda’s peefectly weighed cross.
Zzinda came in as a substitute in the 64th minute to replace Joseph Jjanjali.
UPDF FC have now collected four points from two games , they drew against Maroons in the first game.
Lugazi have now lost the two opening games and are yet to score a goal, their first game was a 3-0 loss to Kitara FC in Lugazi.
The Army side will visit table leaders NEC FC in their next encounter on Tuesday 24th-September.
Lugazi FC will host Vipers next on Thursday 26th-September at Lugazi FC Stadium.
