UPDF FC was held by struggling Mbale Heroes FC when the two sides played to a one all draw at Bombo Military Barracks grounds.
Samuel Ssekamatte put UPDF in the lead from the spot after Rashid Faridi was put down in the forbidden area in the 19th minute.
With the game destined to end 1-0 in favor of UPDF, Hilary Adima put the game level handing Mbale Heroes a hard fought point with just 3 minutes left on the clock.
Mbale Heroes have now managed to collect two points from the seven games they have played away from home, their other point was against Lugazi FC.
The Army men maintain their fifth position and move to 17 points.
They next visit struggling Soltilo Bright Stars on Wednesday 18th December at Kavumba Recreation grounds.
Mbale Heroes are still in the relegation zone 15th with 9 points, their next opponent will be Vipers SC on Friday 20th December at Mbale Municipal grounds.
