SC Villa 1-1 Police FC

Police FC scored a late penalty through Brian James Obedi to hold SC Villa to a 1-1 draw at Wankulukuku.

Obedi’s penalty came after Isaac Ogwang went down in the box following a challenge from Cyprus Kibande in the 82nd minute.

SC Villa were dominant in the first half and got a deserved lead courtesy of Patrick Jonah Kakande’s penalty in the 25th minute.

Kakande’s penalty was awarded by referee Lucky Kasalirwe following Regan Matege’s foul on Charles Lwanga in the forbidden area.

The Jogoos have played out a second successive 1-1 draw at home, having shared spoils against Lugazi FC in the similar manner last Friday.

The Cops are now 5th on the table with 17 points garnered from 12 games whereas Villa are 7th with 16 points.

Police will host Maroons in their next game on Thursday 19th December while Villa will visit rivals KCCA on Friday 20th December at Lugogo.
