KCCA FC and SC Villa the two most successful clubs in country went toe to toe in the Uganda Premier league contest at Lugogo on Friday.
It was a closely contested game between the two sides that have unprecedented 30 league titles between them.
The first period did not live up to the expectation ending goalless.
In the second period, Sadat Anaku gave the hosts the lead heading home a perfect Ettiene Katenga cross in the 63rd minute.

The lead lasted for only five minutes when last season’s MVP Patrick Jonah Kakande dragged the Jogoos back into the game capitalizing on Mustafa Mujuuzi’s mistake.
Charles Lwanga who was facing his former paymasters had a decent game came close to firing SC Villa into the lead but his effort kissed the crossbar.
In the closing stages, Anaku squandered a golden opportunity with a Meddie Kibirige at his disposal but the striker shot wide.
The two sides had to settle for the stalemate that leaves KCCA FC winless at home in three games and are now on 23 points five behind leaders Vipers SC.
For SC Villa, they remain winless on the road this term with four defeats and two draws in six away games.
The Jogoos are now on 13 points after 13 games.
The league will resume after the Uganda Cranes CHAN qualifier matches against Burundi on December 26th and 29th at Nakivubo Stadium.
