The FUFA Competitions Department has confirmed the new date for the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 tie between Seeta United and SC Villa.
The game was initially scheduled for 12th January but was postponed since SC Villa had four players on the Uganda Cranes team that was preparing for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament that was slated for next month before it was postponed to August this year.
The game has now been rearranged to Thursday, 23rd January at St.Luke Seeta CU with the winner progressing to the round of 32.
SC Villa are nine time competition winners and last won the event in 2015. Last season, they were eliminated by current holders Kitara FC at the round of 16 stage.
Meanwhile, Vipers SC, NEC FC, BUL FC, URA FC,Bushenyi Veterans, Blacks Power, Bright Stars, Police FC, Catda FC, Mbarara City and holders Kitara FCare the sides that have secured round of 32 slots.
