Police FC and BUL FC have progressed to the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 16 following their triumphs over Soltilo Bright Stars and Bugoigo Leopards respectively.
Police FC ended Bright Stars journey with a 2-0 win at Kavumba thanks to goals from Umar Kasumba and debutant Abdu Shakur Jjemba.
Kasumba gave the Cops an early lead before Jjemba sealed the win in the final minutes of the game.
In the other game, BUL FC needed a comeback win to overcome regional league side Bugoigo Leopards 3-1 to cruise to the last 16.
Oscar Fred gave the visitors an early lead before Bakali Magunda, Karim Ndugwa and Viane Ssekajugo scored BUL’s three goals.
BUL and Police FC join SC Villa, Vipers SC, Kitara FC, Rwenzori Lions and Total FC into the last 16.
